  1. Great, thanks for letting us know. Chrome is supposed to update extensions automatically, but if you want to force it, the easiest way is to uninstall and then reinstall from the Chrome store
  2. Great, thanks, no worries! Yes, we think we've resolved this one. The MSN one is unfortunately more troublesome, but we'll take a look at it
  3. Those are separate issues, please consider only the Google images in this thread.
  4. Folks, we believe we have resolved this issue, can you please re-test and let us know? Thanks so much for your patience and feedback in debugging it with us.
  5. Are you all connecting through google.com, or maybe a non-English or non-.com Google site?
  6. Hi folks, I've been trying to replicate this issue for several days and cannot, with either Chrome or Firefox, and Malwarebytes for Chrome/Firefox version 1.0.44. I have tried the exact version of Chrome (and Windows) that mdwpsyd listed above. Can you tell me anything more about how to make this happen? What exact URL do I need to go to? Are you using the most current extension version (1.0.44)?
  7. It's not blocked here... what version of the extension?
  8. the Malwarebytes for Chrome browser extension
  9. This was fixed earlier this morning. Close and reopen your browser and it should pick up the fixed database. Sorry for the inconvenience!
  10. This was fixed earlier this morning. Close and reopen your browser and it should pick up the new database that fixes this. Sorry for the inconvenience!
  11. Should now be fixed, whenever the extension next picks up updates. If you want to force that to happen ASAP, close and reopen your browser. Sorry for the inconvenience!
  12. @BreadmanYan, can you please update to version 1.0.30 (and clear your cookies) and let us know if all of these are blocked correctly now? Thanks!!
  13. No worries, and thanks for your detective work!
  14. Definitely not wasting our time, don't worry. For what it's worth, I just installed Firefox fresh and about:config showed a modified browser.cache.disk.capacity (to your same value 1048576), and that was without any extensions installed at all and a completely fresh install of the browser. Not sure what's causing it, but I'm pretty sure it's not us...
  15. We are not setting any browser-wide settings, no cache size setting, nothing. The extension uses about 5 MB of disk space to store its internal data files, but that is not in the browser cache (which is reserved for website data), it's in a dedicated database that the browser allocates to the extension. (You can see the files under AppData, I forget exactly where it's located for Firefox, but for Chrome it's under a folder called IndexedDB.) What made you think that setting is being changed by our extension?
  16. We're working on handling this particular piece of ad crap in the next version of our browser extension.
  17. I'm a bit mystified to be honest. @dominik_1kyu, does the issue still happen if you disable all your other Chrome plugins and extensions? Thanks for helping us try to figure this out!
  18. Well, let us know if you can reproduce the issue further please. Thanks!
  19. Is it possible you were still affected by the CCleaner bug at this time? None of those sites are detected here.
  20. Unfortunately I can't help with that, nor would I recommend their product, all I can tell you is that they say they've fixed the bug you identified in this thread, where they corrupted our extension....
  21. Fantastic, thanks so much nukecad for both your detective work and your patience.
  22. Hi folks, so sorry for the very long delay here, but we heard back from the CCleaner team that version 5.44 released today fixes the bug on their end with Site Preferences in Firefox corrupting our extension. Thanks so much for your patience!
  23. Hi Dan, apologies for missing responding to this thread, but we fixed the issue last week so you should be all set. Thanks!
  24. We're not sure. We've reached out to CCleaner team, stay tuned.
