  1. Thanks a lot. I really appreciate your help. I will be changing passwords to things I frequent though for sure. Thanks again.
  2. The other thing I observed is in this screen shot. Where the black box is. I didn't know what this meant:
  3. Ok, I ran the TDSSKiller and it found nothing. There was no log to copy and paste. On a side note, as Malware Bytes was scanning, my McAfee found these: C:\Users\Zach\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\53\376fc075-393cc694 C:\Users\Zach\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\4\1f8c1a84-7eee8b47 C:\Users\Zach\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\2\a9f2e82-3265fb10 All were detected as "Exploit-CVE2010-0840" and were deleted.
  4. Ok, I will run it right after Malware Bytes finishes up.
  5. Well turns out that the System Restore ended up working. I'll have to run Malware Bytes and make sure my virus scan is going. Any other things I should do?
  6. I am trying to run a system restore through the advanced boot menu right now, but it told me the disk had errors for two of the previous restore points. So it is now checking the disk for errors.
  7. I've tried it a couple of more times, but when I attempt to boot in safe mode it hangs up at the loading files screen and doesn't ever load. I also noticed that it doesn't restart, just shuts down. I am thinking there may be something else going on in addition to the virus and I may end up having to wipe the drive, but I don't want to lose the files that are on it.
  8. Sorry, I'm running Vista. I didn't remember it coming with a disc. I think it has the built in restore functions.
  9. Hi, I tried to remove the System Tool malware, but when I reboot in any mode the computer will restart after a minute or so. I tried to run MalwareBytes, but it just keeps restarting. Is there anyway around this? I can find plenty of ways to remove it, but I can't even try due to the restarting issue. Thanks.
