I am told that I need to download malwarebytes software to remove a vicious malware program that keeps telling my computer is infected with a virus. I've rebooted in safemode with networking at least a hundred times yet I cannot get to the internet to even try to download it (I'm on a friend's computer at the moment). What can I do? The only option I can think of is to have a friend download it to a cd and run the program off the CD in safemode? Will this work? Thank you, any help you can provide would be welcomed. Cathy
