    testing with zero-day threats...
  1. this is link for virus total: http://www.virustotal.com/file-scan/report.html?id=fae05da751edfbb103d674e2b7b4f84006e15e73cc7301dcccd39cc54c91c190-1314961632 i checked this file. this is from AverZip software which is good software. AZSfx.zip mbam-log-2011-09-02 (16-56-09).txt
  2. now i tested superantispyware also. it detected 20
  3. i downloaded some zero-day threats and conducted on demand scan, Test Results are, Comodo Internet Security: 57 Avast Free: 58 Emsisoft Anti-Malware: 61 Malwarebytes antimalware: 48 ad-adware: 48 emsisoft detected 61(winner!)
  4. sorry advancedsetup, i am new member to this forum, so i don't know about that and one thing i am not advertising comodo because my search for the best security stopped when i installed MBAM and comodo. so i want to help others if i can. But any way, i am a normal member so i won't reply to those type of topics ever. Thanks for the telling.
  5. go to start->run->type services.msc->doubleclick print spooler->startup type=automatic and service status=start(click) then restart.
  6. open that website and see... its not malicious website. so please remove it from the blocking list.
  7. if u use mse and avast free, u r not protected because they r all based on traditional signature based security. avast is better than mse. but use comodo internet security, it has defence+ technology(HIPS) with mbam. no virus can't do any harm to ur computer with these two in action. but u have to learn how to use comodo internet security, so watch youtube videos on comodo internet security. its the BEST combination to protect ur computer. i am using comodo and mbam and i frequently test these two with zero-day threats which are very very latest like 1hour or something like that. finally u have to decide. but mse is waste, if u don't believe watch mse test and reviews on youtube.
  8. Hi firefox, i have windows xp sp2 and i upgraded it to sp3. then after two weeks, every thing is very very dead slow. My computer is not infected. i am sure, i can say that. Again the same problem occurs when i upgraded sp2 to sp3. not once, but 3times. so i think sp2 is good and i stick with it. Don't tell me to upgrade sp2 to sp3 because i am above average user and virus or any threat can't infect my system when i have Comodo Internet security and MBAM. Even without MBAM they can't infect my system. I add exceptions in comodo and added exceptions for comodo in mbam. So there is no conflict between them.
  9. http://www.animecrazy.net this website is not malicious. MBAM is blocking this website. 80.82.70.249 outgoing.... please remove this false positive.
  10. Hello firefox, these are the details... What is your current version of windows (XP, Vista, or Win7)? xp Is your windows OS 32-bit or 64-bit? 32bit What is your OS Service Pack? sp2 What version (if any) of MBAM are you running (current is 1.51.1.1800) and is it the Free or Pro version? 1.51.1.1800 trial realtime protection ON. My friend has pro version, it also heavy on the system. What MBAM database version do you have now (current is 7566)? 7571 latest. What brand and version of antivirus software do you have? Comodo Internet Security 5.5 latest. What firewall software do you use if any? Comodo internet security has its own firewall. Has your computer been infected recently, or is it currently showing any other abnormal behavior (browser redirects, IP blocks, etc.) to suggest an infection? No, everything is ok on the computer. These questions are not necessary, because MBAM is heavy on every computer. details are: mbamgui.exe ~ 9MB mbamservice.exe ~ 85MB Any way, how much on your system, firefox?
  11. MBAM 1.51.1.1800 LATEST VERSION IS HEAVY ON THE SYSTEM. PLEASE REDUCE IT.
  12. i will test security suites with zero day malware...

  13. Thanks for ur reply and can u reduce memory usage of mbamservice.exe(currently it is using 85,824K) and mbamgui.exe(currently it is using 6,980K. I saw tests and reviews of MBAM in youtube. Ur detection rates r very good.
