is hacktool.gamescheat.gen and hacktool.gamescheat malicious?

i didn't know where to post this so i posted it here. i got several of these on game trainer files for example "assasins creed brotherhood 1.0 trainer +8"

They are very low-level in terms of maliciousness. As their name implies they are codes that modify game's events in order to cheat. This could be to capture relevant successful game methodologies or make chances to effect a successful outcome.

It could be Malicious but the risk is low.

It's kinda like those cracks which bypass Microsofts check are you using genuine copy of windows.

Reason why it gets detected is because it makes changes to game allowing you to cheat.

 

Unless Malawarebytes and/or anti virus software detects something in other folders or registry, it's most likely harmless and you risk of getting banned if it allowes you to cheat in online games.
