I downloaded a file which Malwarebytes reports a trojan... I am trying to send a notice of a possible false positive, as all other scans are clean, but I do not how to get the Developer mode you speak of for this function.

My workflow:

Opera download manager > Select FIle & Right Click > Advanced > Scan with Malwarebytes...

Any ideas?

I will give you the link:

the web page is: http://math.exeter.edu/rparris/winplot.html

the file is: http://math.exeter.edu/rparris/peanut/wp32z.exe

I have emailed the developer and he has run his Kaspersky and it came out clean.

I have also run AVG 2012 and SpyBot Search & Destroy and they both read a clean file.

Log file:
