Hello,

My parents computer seems to have gotten some kind of nasty virus. Everytime I try to open MBAM I get this message.

Run-time error '372': Failed to load control 'vbalGrid' from vbalsgrid6.ocx. Your version of vbalsgrid6.ocx may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application.

Whether it be in safe mode or normal windows.

I have tried to reinstall it but I ended up still getting this message.

The virus is PC Fix Speed. Which is a fake virus protection trying to get credit card information.

I have tried to uninstall it in windows and safe mode with no luck.

The computer is a Dell Inspiron N5010 with Windows 7.

If anyone has any idea please let me know.
