AVG & Malwarebytes

9 posts in this topic

I use AVG exclusively for my antivirus.....is there any known problems using the paid version of AVG and the paid version of Malwarebytes together??

Malwarebytes really rocks.....It simply works and works well.

I just need to know if I can install AVG and Malwarebytes on client PC's and not have them fighting each other.

Thanks!!

If it helps, I use AVG Free and MBAM together and have never had an issue.

I've seen quite a few people in the past using AVG along with the paid version of MBAM and I don't believe they've ever reported problems with it.

Although they may report the fact that AVG just isn't that good...

I'm running both AVG 8.5 Internet Security (paid version) without firewall (which is Online Armor) and MBAM paid version and, as far as I can tell, they run nicely together.

True enough, Avira is my preference for free ones, but I use KAV myself.

I like avast! and Avira plus their forums are very friendly unlike AVG forum.

You're very welcome, sorry for all the tangents. Long story short, you should have no issues running both of them in realtime and if unforeseen issues do arise, post here or contact the Malwarebytes' HelpDesk and we/they'll help you out B) .
