Sorry for the delay. I'll go ahead and assist you.

Please restart the computer first and then run the following steps and post back the logs when ready as attachments. Please don't copy/paste the logs as the forum software does not always translate correctly.

STEP 01
Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.

  • Shutdown your antivirus to avoid any conflicts.
  • Right click over JRT.exe and select Run as administrator on Windows Vista or Windows 7, double-click on XP.
  • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
  • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete.
  • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
  • Post the contents of JRT.txt into your next reply message
  • When completed make sure to re-enable your antivirus

STEP 02
Let's clean out any adware now: (this will require a reboot so save all your work)

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save to your Desktop.

  • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
Vista / Windows 7/8 users right-click and select Run As Administrator
  • Click on the Scan button.
  • AdwCleaner will begin...be patient as the scan may take some time to complete.
  • When it's done, you'll see: Pending: Please uncheck elements you don't want to be removed.
  • Now click on the Report button and a logfile (AdwCleaner[R0].txt) will open in Notepad for review.
  • Look at the log especially under Files/Folders for any program you want to save.
  • If there's a program you may want to save, just uncheck it from AdwCleaner.
  • If you're not sure, post the log for review. (all items found are adware/spyware/foistware)
  • If you're ready to clean it all up, click the Clean button.
  • After rebooting, a logfile report (AdwCleaner[S0].txt) will open automatically.
  • Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.
  • A copy of that logfile will also be saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder.
  • Items that are deleted are moved to the Quarantine Folder: C:\AdwCleaner\Quarantine
  • To restore an item that has been deleted:
  • Go to Tools > Quarantine Manager > check what you want to be restored > now click on Restore.

STEP 03
Download Sophos Free Virus Removal Tool and save it to your desktop.

  • Double click the icon and select Run
  • Click Next
  • Select I accept the terms in this license agreement, then click Next twice
  • Click Install
  • Click Finish to launch the program
  • Once the virus database has been updated click Start Scanning
  • If any threats are found click Details, then View Log file (bottom left-hand corner)
  • Copy and paste the results in your reply
  • Close the Notepad document, close the Threat Details screen, then click Start cleanup
  • Click Exit to close the program
  • If no threats were found, please confirm that result.

STEP 04
Please download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. You can check here if you're not sure if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit

  • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens, click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press the Scan button.
  • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your reply.
  • The first time the tool is run, it also makes another log (Addition.txt). If you've, run the tool before you need to place a check mark here.
  • Please attach the Additions.txt log to your reply as well.

Thanks

Thanks @AdvancedSetup.

Here are the results.

No threats were found by Sophos Free Virus Removal Tool.

Start up time is still slow, but better.

The main problem now is that I'm experiencing internet connection instability issues.

After I disconnect and reconnect the router 10s later, Internet is ok, but after about two minutes, the websites show "No internet connection", despite the Local Network Connection being active and LAN adapter ok.

Please uninstall all versions of Java. If you really need Java then make sure you only have the latest version installed at any given time.

Please visit each of the following sites and let's reset all of your browsers back to defaults to prevent unexpected issues.
If you are not using one of the browsers but it is installed then you may want to consider uninstalling it as older versions of some software can pose an increase in the potential for an infection to get in.

Internet Explorer
How to reset Internet Explorer settings

Firefox
Click on Help / Troubleshooting Information then click on the Reset Firefox button.

Chrome

I would like to reset Chrome back to defaults to completely clear out what is going on with Chrome.

You can keep your “Bookmarks” if you want to keep them, but you have to export them first – >> Export Bookmarks << – Everything else should be removed.

Then I need you to go to >> Google Sync << and sign into your account.
Scroll down until you see the reset sync button and click on the button
At the prompt click on Ok.

.
Reset Your Browser Settings
.

  1. In the top-right corner of the browser window, click the “Chrome Menu” icon (Three horizontal lines)
  2. Select Settings.
  3. At the bottom, click Show advanced settings…
  4. Scroll down until you see “Reset settings”, Then click on the button Reset Settings.
  5. In the dialog that appears, click Reset.

.
Close Chrome and restart it and check it out for me please

Next,

Please download the attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop.
NOTE. It's important that both files, FRST or FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.

NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on this particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system.

Run FRST or FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.
If the tool needs a restart please make sure you let the system restart normally and let the tool complete its run after restart.
The tool will make a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please attach or post it to your next reply.

Note: If the tool warned you about an outdated version please download and run the updated version.

Thanks

Hi, @AdvancedSetup

Thanks.

I deleted Internet Explorer (Antiexploit was blocking it and it wouldn't open).

I also reseted chrome.

However, even after executing the script, the internet problem persists.

Internet goes off, and after I either execute NetBooster tool from System Mechanic (which resets internet configurations) or unplug and replug the router, internet comes back for about 2-5 minutes. Then it goes down again (but the network adapter stays alive showing that there is Internet Access). Even though the adapter shows connection is alive, I can't navigate on chrome on this situation, though, as you can see on the print screen that I attatched along with fixlog.txt.

Still don't know what is causing this instability.

Please download the following scanner from Kaspersky and save it to your computer: TDSSkiller

Then watch the following video on how to use the tool and make sure to temporarily disable your security applications before running TDSSkiller.

PC Winvids - How to run Kaspersky TDSSKiller

If any infection is found please make sure to choose SKIP and post back the log in case of a False Positive detection.

Once the tool has completed scanning make sure to re-enable your other security applications.

I would recommend to you that you don't need System Mechanic, and in fact, it can cause damage to the Registry as well as run services consuming resources that you really don't need. Windows itself is designed to manage and take care of itself. Microsoft has done a good job of managing the computer.

For now, at least temporarily please uninstall System Mechanic.

Do I need a Windows Registry Cleaner?

Do you still use a wireless keyboard?

Do you use anything with Bluetooth ?

Nothing wrong with running all the iCloud software, but if you're not using it then you might want to stop loading it every time the computer starts.

Same with Internet Download Manager. Basically, unless you're using an application every time you turn the computer on, then in many cases there is no need to launch it on startup. Internet Download Manager is used to aggregate downloads so as to download files from multiple sources however unless you're pirating or stealing software then there is very little real need for such software. They don't really aggregate multiple downloads of major files. All the major sites can provide download speeds as fast or faster than your own ISP download speeds. Up to you but for the most part that is more software that has little real use for many people. If you're downloading huge amounts of sketchy software on a daily basis then perhaps it may be useful for some files, if not then you might want to look at removing it.

You're getting Garmin update checks every time the computer starts. Do you really need it?, can't you manually launch it if or when needed?

Unless you're running a lot of computers at home then changing your DNS provider to the Google Public DNS would provide better, safer, and often faster website lookups.

I would really recommend removing Java and if at all possible not using Java. However, again, if you're doing all sorts of file downloads from sites (another easy way to infect your computer) you probably cannot run without Java. Java is often compromised on a regular basis and makes it very easy to infect computers running older versions of the program. If you can do without Java that would be my recommendation.

SeaMonkey and MegaDownloader goes hand in hand with the type of downloads it looks like the computer is being used for. Once again, a warning that this is risky behavior and can easily lead to a severe infection like a file encrypting Trojan that encrypts all your data and holds it ransom till you pay to get it restored.

You're running an extremely old version of a program that certainly is using resources but could not be of any real value due to its age. It is now over 6 years old which in the field of malware which has hundreds of new variants daily cannot help you. I would recommend its removal due to its age alone.

R2 SpyHunter 4 Service; C:\Program Files (x86)\Enigma Software Group\SpyHunter\SH4Service.exe [327064 2010-05-18] (Enigma Software Group USA, LLC.)

You're running a program all the time out of the %TEMP% folder where no programs should be installed or running from. It's a temp/trash folder, not an installation folder.

S3 cpuz134; \??\C:\Users\Popai\AppData\Local\Temp\cpuz134\cpuz134_x64.sys [X]

It too is using resources every time you start the computer. Do you really need it ? It's a great tool and I've used it from time to time but myself I don't see a need to run it every time the computer starts. I'd recommend uninstalling it and if you really want it reinstall the latest version in its own install folder, not run from Temp.

The computer does not appear to be infected per se at this time, but if you really want to keep the computer and your data safe you should really consider stopping your download practices. Sooner or later you're quite likely to get a severe infection.

The Operating System itself appears to be an illegal copy as there is no legal way for a home user to obtain the Enterprise version of Windows 7.

Anything we do here is really just a band-aid and the type of data you're dealing with doing all these downloads will once again bite you.

If it were me, I'd look at formatting the drive and reinstalling a legitimate version of Windows and start using more main stream legal means of entertainment on the computer.

At this point, unless you want to go a bit more extreme and uninstall programs, remove startup programs, and general PC cleanup there isn't much more we can do from an infection point of view. The logs are no longer showing much of any signs of an infection.

Let me know what you'd like to do.

Thank you

Ron

Hi, @AdvancedSetup

I will proceed uninstalling the software and startup services you mentioned.

Some questions:

How do I remove  S3 cpuz134; \??\C:\Users\Popai\AppData\Local\Temp\cpuz134\cpuz134_x64.sys [X]  if it is not listed in the program list in Control Panel?

I use Java to access my Bank's website. But I guess I only have the latest version of Java installed. Would that be fine?

Also, I used DNS Benchmark http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/how-find-best-dns-server.htm to identify what were the best DNS servers for my region.

The DNS service from my ISP providers (192.168.100.1 and 192.168.1.1) were faster than the google public Dns Servers. Also, I ran the DNS Spoofability test and my ISP servers passed with excellent protection (including DNSSEC), while Google Public Servers passed with Moderate protection. In this scenario, is it ok to stay with my local ISP DNS Servers?

Thanks.

Thanks, @AdvancedSetup.

I made many of the exclusions/adjustments you pointed out.

For startup configuration, I used the program autoruns.exe to uncheck the undesired programs/services.

However, startup is still slow.

Please see if a script would be helpful. I attatched the new Farbar logs for your analysis.

Thank you.

Something is causing Bonjour to hang. Please uninstall it from the Control Panel. It normally gets installed from iTunes software which we can reinstall when we're done.

So does the computer run well normally, and is only slow starting up?

We could try using MSCONFIG and set it to Diagnostic Startup mode and reboot and see if that helps or not. If that does not help much then I'd think the hard drive may be failing.

This site has a test tool to check hard drives.

https://www.smartmontools.org/

This site list some other tools as well to help test the drive.

http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolsofthetrade/tp/tophddiag.htm

I'd suggest testing the hard drive and verify both it's integrity as well as it's data transfer speeds and see if they measure up to normal speeds or not.
