New and Confused

I am new and would like some help regarding this log file.

I searched this forum and it would seem that I should just highlight these two infections and send them to the ignore list.

I'm running Mcafee AV

Nothing is detected or comes up when I scan with Mcafee.

Malwarebyte's only shows these two infections.

Also, should I run Malwarebytes in safe mode to make sure my computer is clean?

OR

Should I uninstall Malwarebytes then install it in safe mode then run a scan in safe mode?

Some help please. TIA

Greetings and welcome to Malwarebytes' :)

Since you have McAfee installed you should have Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware ignore both of these detections. McAfee and several other internet security suites will disable the Windows Security Center from monitoring the status of your antivirus and firewall protection because they monitor themselves and they don't want users to receive duplicate notifications.

As for how to scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, if at all possible, it is always recommended to scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware in Normal Mode, not Safe Mode.

If you require anything further please post.

Thanks :)
