Trojan.Agent.Gen

8 posts in this topic

I have two files in visual studio 2008 folder which shows up as Trojan. I have never used this software fro a while, and use Malwarebyes for in demand scans. I run a scan recently about 10 days ago and nothing showed up. However, today i had these to files infected. It has been quarantined, but would like to know if I can delete it. Is it a keylogger? Do I need to be worried and change my passwords?

Thanks

Click on the quaritine tab in MBAM and click on the file above. Click restore.

Than navigate to here:

c:\documents and settings\tveerab\my documents\visual studio 2008\Projects\windowsapplication1\windowsapplication1\bin\Debug\windowsapplication1.exe

or here:

c:\documents and settings\tveerab\my documents\visual studio 2008\Projects\windowsapplication1\windowsapplication1\obj\Debug\windowsapplication1.exe

right click the file and send to compressed. Click add reply and then use the full editor. On full editor attach the file that has the .zip extension to this post.

No they were false positives. Update and they should no longer be detected.
